Summer Sunday School

July 1st, July 8th, July 15th, July 22nd, 29th

Children who have completed 1st year of Sunday school up through 5th grade are welcome.

Get ready to have fun!  This summer’s theme is Pioneers of Christianity.  Each Sunday we’ll focus on a Sunday School lesson, a pioneer activity, game or song and then share a snack.  We will also have a patriotic theme on July 1st. We will separate the younger children from the older kiddos to keep lessons age appropriate.

Class will begin just after Holy Communion and conclude 1 hour later (usually around 11:30).  Classes will be on 1st floor next to Director’s office.

The fee for this is $10 per child or $15 per family for all 5 classes payable to St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church and noted for “Summer Sunday School”.  You may pay this on the first day of Summer Sunday School.  ADDITIONAL DONATIONS ALWAYS WELCOME.

We also NEED and welcome VOLUNTEERS to assist or teach.  You can help all five Sundays or choose one or two.  You can help by being a lead teacher, an assistant (helping kiddos with crafts, setting up materials, cleaning up) or just help by bringing in a healthy nut free snack.

Please contact Bess Fitzmaurice to register your child or children OR if you wish to volunteer at  or  314-602-5406.  You do not need to send money in advance, just pay when you come to your first class BUT DO LET ME KNOW YOU PLAN TO BRING YOUR CHILD/CHILDREN.
