What: St. Nicholas Annual SOUPER BOWL Canned Food Drive with drive-through, contact-free drop-off.

When: Saturday, Feb. 27 from 11 am to 2 pm at the Family Life Center

Why: To stock the Food Pantry at Trinity Episcopal Church in the Central West End.

Details: Stop by the Family Life Center during the hours above to bring cans of the food listed below. We’ll appreciate it if you have the cans in paper or plastic bags.

You may also bring cans to St. Nicholas Church on Sundays throughout the month of February or drop them off cans at the Family Life Center Monday to Friday, 10 am to 4 pm, and during the Fish Fry Friday, Feb. 26 at the Family Life Center.

The church pantry has specific needs. Please limit your donations to the following items:


canned chili or stew

canned tuna in water

canned chicken

chicken noodle soup

canned fruit

boxed mac & cheese (Kraft)

dry spaghetti

canned ravioli


Who: Since we are not attending Sunday school in person, GOYA is taking the lead in helping with this important ministry.

Donations will go to the food pantry at Trinity Church, 600 N. Euclid, which also operates a soup kitchen to fight hunger and serve those in need.



GOYANs are encouraged to sign up for a 2 hour shift on Saturday, February 27th

during with the drive through drop off.

We’ll follow all of the COVID guidelines to keep the students safe.

A burger and some actual ‘masked’ face time with friends is part of the deal

along with a special PRIZE for the student who brings in the most cans!!
