My beloved St. Nicholas Family,

Words can't express how overwhelmed we all are - Presvytera Caroline, George, Julia and William - at the outpouring of support and love from our entire community at the passing of my mother, Vanka, and we want to offer our heartfelt thanks to everyone.

We thank Father Doug for all his love and support, not only in this sad time, but always. Thanks to the Parish Council (on behalf of the whole community) and the Philoptochos for the beautiful flowers to adorn my mother's casket. Thanks to the Church School director, Bess Fitzmaurice, and all the parents and children for the beautiful flowers and all the wonderful cards of sympathy and comfort that the children made for us. Thanks to Carol Kamburis, Helen Carey and Gracie Livaditis for support in many ways, to Jonathan Hartley for arranging the live stream of the service so my relatives in Detroit could see it, to Chris Paradowski for all his loving help help on the day of the service, to those who brought food to us and to all who took the time to reach out and offer your sympathy and prayers. We truly feel loved.

May my mother's memory be eternal. Knowing how closely we've been embraced by this wonderful community, I'm certain that she will rest in peace.

With love in Christ,

Father Michael
